I can’t feel my body and I’m thinking I should be concerned. It was foolish of me to think one time with Malix would be enough.

Spoiler alert, it wasn’t. And now my body is ultimately paying the price.

Definitely worth it.

Malix comes back from the washroom, holding two towels. He starts to clean my body and I’m slightly mortified when he cleans his cum from between my legs. I just let this man do terribly delicious things to my body and I’m feeling self-conscious because he’s cleaning me? Doesn’t make sense to me, either.

Eventually I surrender to his cleaning because although I don’t want to go to bed sticky, I also don’t think my legs would be able to carry me to the washroom for a bath.

With the second towel, Malix dries me off and tosses both towels to the ground when he finishes. He produces something out of a capped vial and pours the thick lotion substance onto his hand, and starts to rub it between my legs.

“What’s that?” Curiosity gets the better of me.

“This,” he says, rubbing higher up between my thighs, “is for the soreness.”

“Oh,” I manage and decide I most definitely am falling for my husband.

I struggle to keep my eyes open, not yet ready to fall asleep, but my body has different plans for me. “Malix?” I murmur.

“Hmm?” He pulls a blanket over my naked body, and I hum as the warmth engulfs me.

“Are you sleeping with me tonight?”

“Tonight, and every other night, little dragon.”

I smile at the nickname, his chosen term of affection. That too is growing on me. That or I’m too sexed out of my mind to think properly.

My dragon husband gets into bed next to me and another thought comes forward in my mind.

“Malix?”

“Yes, wife.”

“Why haven’t you shown me your dragon yet?” I don’t know why it popped into my head, but for a dragon husband, he’s seriously lacking on the dragon part. I want to meet his beast and that introduction is long overdue.

“My apologies. I didn’t know you were interested in seeing my dragon.”

I scoff weakly, my eyes fluttering closed. Sleep is an incessant son of a bitch, and I curl up on his chest. “I think it’s obvious that I would want to see him. I bet he’s cute.”

A low rumble leaves his chest, and he chuckles. “I’m not sure cute is the word I would use.”

“No, it’s definitely the word I’m going to use. My cute dragon husband,” I say between yawns.

Malix rubs my back and I feel myself start to drift off.

“I’ll introduce you to him tomorrow.”

“Good,” I murmur and finally let sleep claim me.
